While travelling the world, Shashi recognized a gap in the travel business, especially for senior travellers. This inspired him to create Ghumiya, offering personalised travel experiences tailored to the needs of seniors.

Under Shashi's leadership, Ghumiya delivers exceptional travel solutions that prioritise comfort, convenience, and safety for senior travellers. His vision is to redefine the travel industry with unique packages and a customer-centric approach.

Before joining Ghumiya, Alka co-founded Offbeat Roads India with Shashi, a travel company that specialises in providing unique experiences in offbeat destinations. Her extensive travels across more than 12 countries have given her a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and an understanding of the varied needs of travellers.
