DAY 2 (BAKU TOUR)
10:00 - Following the breakfast at the hotel we will head to the Old city to explore the UNESCO Heritage site. The ancient heart of Baku is Icheri Sheher, a magical maze of narrow lanes and alleyways that’s still mostly ringed by battlement-topped defensive walls erected in the 12th-century. Built on a site inhabited since the Paleolithic period, this old city core reveals evidence of Zoroastrian, Sasanian, Arabic, Persian, Shirvani and Ottoman presence.
During the tour, you will discover traditional mosques with calligraphic facades, old hamams, merchants’ houses and charming trading streets made all the more colorful with quirky little art galleries and carpet shops. You’ll climb the mysterious Maiden Tower (Giz Galasy), a unique stone structure whose purpose is as unknown as its construction date – possibly as early as the 6th-century BC. And to finish off, you’ll explore the 15th-century Shirvanshahs’ Palace, once home to the noble dynasty under which Baku had its first major period of historical brilliance.

DAY 3 (BAKU TOUR)
Azerbaijan is one of the few places on earth, where you can find the preserved elements of the cult of fire and the ancient religion of Zoroastrianism. These places, where oil runs out of the ground and natural gas breaks through with burning torches, always attracted fire worshipers from all over the world. Baku, its oil, "burning earth", has been known far beyond its borders since ancient times. In the written sources of the Middle Ages, related to Baku, it is consistently mentioned about “eternal
lights”, located in its vicinity.
10:00 after breakfast we start from bus trip to Yanar Dag, also known as ‘Burning Mountain’ to enjoy the sunset and warmth of the mountain. True to its name, the mountain has been burning for as long as anyone can remember, and the fire isn’t showing signs of going out any time soon. Situated on the Absheron Peninsula, 25 kilometers northeast of the capital city of Baku, Yanar Dag is a 116-meter hill located on top of a pocket of natural gas that constantly erupts into flames.
11:30 Visit to Ateshgah Fire Temple is located in the southeastern suburb of Surakhani village on Absheron Peninsula. There was a sanctuary of Zoroastrian fire-worshipers, who came here to bow to sacred fire. It is assumed that this first shrine dates to the beginning of the Common Era.
