Day 1 –Guwahati airport pickup transfer to Shillong
Our Cab will pick you from airport & we will take for an incredible scenic route with water rolling down from the roadside mountains, aroma of pine trees, lush green vegetation and orchid flowers to reach the ‘Scotland of the east’ - Shillong. Enroute we visit Borapani , Umiam Lake or Barapani - is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya, a majestic placid lake surrounded by Sylvan hills. The journey will be at an easy pace so that we can soak in as much as we can. On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay will be at Shillong Hotel.
Day 2 - Shillong Sight Seeing
Post breakfast we will go for excursion to Mawphlang Sacred Forest (Sacred Grove). We will start our day with Shillong peak & Elephanta fall & then move to Mawphlang Sacred Forest. In Sacred Grove you will see the dense forest with thousand-year-old trees & culture. Then we will visit the Khashi Heritage village. Post that we will have lunch & then we will move drive towards Mawsynram(Wettest place on Earth).Mawsynram is a village in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya . In Mawsynram we will visit KremPuri Cave system on the way will cover Laitlum Canyons. Evening in Shillong.
Day 3 - Dawki ,Mawlynong sight seeing & overnight at Shnongpdeng
After breakfast we will head towards Mawlynnong & Revai village. We will start our day with the single root bridge in Revai village & then we will see Nowwet point. Later in Mawlynnong see how the cleanest village in Asia looks like, what do people there do that we don’t followed by lunch at local at Mawlynnong. After lunch we will move towards Dwaki. Dwaki is one of the most stunning destination situated near the Bangladesh border. You can see the border on the other bank. It is really a hidden paradise. The main attraction of this place is the lake's crystal and clear water. In a sunny day,You can also see the boulders underground of water. A boat ride is a must for all. Later we will move to Bangladesh border , evening we will stay at Shnongpdeng camp site with bonfire & local dinner.
Day 4 - Water activities in Shnongpdeng & transfer to Cheerapunjee
Post breakfast we will move head towards small trek towards the waterfall & natural swimming pool. You may opt for water activities on self-payment basis & experience the local village life. After lunch we will drive towards Cheerapunjee
Day 5 - Cheerapunjee Local sightseeing
Post breakfast we will move head for local sight-seeing in Cheerapunjee. In Cherrapunjee you can visit the Nokhalikai falls, Seven Sister’s falls, Wei Sawdong Falls , Kynrem Falls, Dainthlen falls and Mawsmai cave. Post lunch visit the Awrah Cave. Later spend the evening in Cheerapunjee.
Day 6 - Double Decker & rainbow fall Trek
Post breakfast, we will drive towards the entry & exit point of double decker trek. Our driver will drop you to entry & exit point & will wait till you are back. If you go to double roots bridge it’s better to do the natural swimming pool and rainbow waterfalls which are about an hour away from there. There are many stalls on the way for some food and refreshment. Return back to entry & exit point and from there we can plan the day as per your leisure. Evening as per your leisure followed by dinner & overnight back in Cheerapunjee.
Day 7 - Transfer To Guwahati airport en route Maa Kamakhaya temple.
After breakfast we will drive towards Guwahati airport en-route we will visit Maa Kamakhaya Temple. Post lunch drop to airport.
